2009 reg, 1.7dtj, i have a probem with the front high beam lights not working. the car is ex police, so looms have been modified, does anyone have diagram, showing were the power + wire comes to supply feed to high beam. i have located wires at front lights and its a white colour wire on nearside and white on offside, which supplies the 12v + when high beam switch is used, just can not figure out ifit comes from uec, or rec, and at which plug, any help would besuperb, thanks

All the questions should start from what car, what year, what engine is what fuel. What are the symptoms of the problem. Only then is what you know, what fault code, live data, what you have done.

    OFF TOPIC:-

No such thing as a 'standard' police car, there ALL differant differant pigs use TOTALLY differant gear to each other.

You often find a Pig Car is a standard production car pulled off the production line at a certain point, then sometimes, Vauxhall pre install - possability that wire you found - to the trunk, but rumor states NOBODY uses it, they use their own.

Yeah look very very very very closely at the headlights, will be cut, need joining back up, often goes to a control unit in the trunk, or look on a pillar for sticker with coach builders number on.

did a jagwar xf the same but converts when they had bumper off and only had one inch to doit

Also, if car has those silly steering headlights that move the beam when steering is turned and the steering controller is faulty or motor etc. in headlight, I've seen that kill highbeam.
