    Default vu+duo keeps locking up

Hi guys i have a duo (clone V3) that has been working great for around 9 months,I had vix image installed and it was running great i decided to update the image with the newest build' to my horror the box continually kept locking up on free view channels and on pay channels there was a display on the tv but no functions on the remote worked 'It required a switch on and off From the mains. This kept happening even after i flashed a copy of the image with hdd un installed or any plugins.

This was concerning me so i changed completely to black-hole which i had on the box for some time at 1 point the exact problem happened again.

I rebooted the box and took the cover off 'just in-case it was overheating but exactly the same thing is happening

Any one any advise on this issue

    no need for scaremongering.

There is nothing in ViX against clones other than the Hardware drivers as issued by Vu+, the exact same ones used by all teams including BH, VTI, PLI - yadda yadda yadda.
That said ViX dont and wont ever offer support for clones but we wont do any thing to intentionally damage them either.

Even originals have had problems with new drivers, and I think a clone could be even more susceptible. I think if you got a clone and it is working okay, it would be better not to use different images; unless there is something in a new image that is a must have, and while you are updating just spend the time praying.
