5 minutes ago I just used hon58r picked and decoded a 1997 honda , all spot on. So easy to pick , no picking order needed, just follow 1,2,3....7, 8th in ignition, instacode is your friend.

Many thanks pinky old boy for some reason I didn't see the date added being 2013
Just a daft question from a beginner - VA6 and VA2T
Do I need both ???

not if just doing entry with these as both tools will pick both locks , the difference is in the decoding , the va2 has 6 heights and the va6 has just 4 heights .

Guys, what you think about chinese (?) 2in1 picks? Are they same accurate as genuine Lishi tools? I would like to buy few which I do not own at this time and wondering about the chinese because the price is way lower but are they same effective as original? What about material? Less durable or anything? Any advices? Thanks.

both genuine lishi and apollo buy tools from mr li , confirmed at usa show when mr li came to aloa show with apollo and supported apollo and genuine lishi at the show , so tools from both will be the same tools .
with a mainstream distributor after sales is often superior , from china returns can be expensive process with shipping costs etc .
i cant say that you are safe buying lishi 2in1 from all chinese suppliers as copies exist in abundance , but apollo have been supported by mr li himself and he and his english spokesman james have confirmed apollo as main stockists of original tools and confirmed via ALOA that they only sell genuine tools with the backing of mr li , which is why i have asked james to put up a list of all suppliers or original li tools.
its personal preference really , some prefer the security and safety of mainland distributors for ease of returns etc , some prefer the cheaper prices from china .
steve im no expert mate , only mr li is an expert on these .

Ok thanks guys . I will buy couple from Apollo then.
just to check it up again,
Is Apollo auto still the distrubtor of genuine Lishi tools?? Can anyone confirm. i heard a rumour that Apollo stopped selling original lishi tools..(hard to believe!!)
Bought one a month ago from Apollo and it had Mr Li face on it.
on the whole they sell mr li tools , but they have been known to slip in some copies now and then too , you expect this with china sellers , its always been this way and always will be , we have always accepted that you pay your money and you take your chances.
mostly it will be a real tool
the round lishi logo is mr li?
