    Maybe Tradelocks are selling fake Mr Li picks - but hay ?20 !!!!!

    Don't be daft - ?20 is toooo cheap anyway. You could be buying utter crap at that price and you'd still pay for tool in 1 job (b4 fell apart ).
    Really not having a moan but come on guys that's nothing!!!!!!!!! Nothing!!!

    Ah the good old days when keyprint sold the standard blind touch picks at ?125 plus vat so ?150 each , dont forget the decoders at ?250 each

    2in1 were never that high , first sold in uk at ?100 each if memory serves

    The original lishi tools sold by tradelocks are real OL tools cleared out from their distributors who had returned to GL tools , thus a restricted range and sold to clear , all OL tools have mr li head on them , all GL tools have their logo and registration details on back . they shouldnt sell any tool with no logo

    The irony of the supply chain to market is the breakdown , take a tool costing the end user ?100 , the lions share of40% of this goes to the distributor . the importer then takes their cut and the inventor gets whats left , the cost of getting a tool to market.

    Take lishi in the early days when they were ?100 each ;

    end distributor gets ?40 ( their role is to list it and sell it and they often sell via sub distributors sharing the 40% between them )
    importer got ?30 ( they paid for branding , show sponsorship , marketing , packaging , shipping development and tooling and lock sets they also hold the stock investment )
    inventor gets ?30 ( they invent and provide raw materials )

    many distributors now import direct , thus cut out importer , so a product can be sold a bit cheaper

    in a market without distributors , everything is cheaper , so along comes china resellers , cut out importer as development now done and brand is built and paid for , cut out distributor as market is aware of product , sell cheap .

    for any brand new product , the supply chain is a necessary evil to get a product to market , create a brand then market the brand , it is almost always after this is achieved that the copies appear and the new resellers appear to ride the brand wave , then a product dies and the next new invention comes along and the process begins again , every product that becomes a brand starts high then ends up in the bargain bucket .

    then of course the vat man , dont get me started on the vat man .
