That is not ori key mate, that is also china remote ori is far a way, but Im guarantee that is Keydiy remote better than other remotes made by china, second thing its not just for Touareg but is universal for other 7946 like renault, audi, fiat...and it cant be locked.

This has happened quite a few times for me, where it updates most then fails leaving it saying there is 1 that needs updating.

This problem only appears to be affecting the KD900, as my KD200 updates OK.
Indicates that 43 updates are required, gets to 97%, waits for a few seconds, indicates SUCCESS, but 43 updates still needed.
Maybe it will get sorted after the holidays are over.

Does anyone know whether the KD900 can do a remote for the Focus 2006? It's just the old tibbe horseshoe type. There is a Mondeo fob listed in the app, but don't know whether this'll do the Focus - I wish the images on the apps list were a bit more meaningful!

2010 Peugeot Partner 3B flip remote, original sticker JCAE ED15 633345.
Successfully programmed using 408 0536 FSK.
All 3 buttons inc middle one for back and side doors only all working OK
Big saving on original price of around ?65.00
Thought I had an intermittent remote problem, RCL worked, then didn't.
Realised that if you press the buttons quickly it doesn't always work, but if you keep pressed for at least 1 second, works every time

Thanks, yeah I saw that, just wondering if anyone knows whether it will work for focus. I was going to try this and take a genuine along in case the kd fob fails, but if the chip goes in, and the kd remote fails, it means a wasted token or having to swap the chip in the original. Need to know it'll work before programming the kd chip.

Ford remotes are pretty much the same and not model specific, programming is mostly manual.
Cycle a key between ignition on and one click back 4 times and you should hear a chime.
Press any button on all remotes present and you should get a confirmation chime with each one that is accepted
