the problem with the dongle was solved by a vendor idea. i`ll use a mini usb hub and its ok for me.
remains the changing date problem on win7.
runasdate is not working. doesn't know to change the date also for secondary started processes.

With AES V54 mini, unlock and checksum work perfectly for PCR2.1.

bought galletto v54 mini from carprog and unfortunatelly it requires a dongle to run.
i dont have so many usb slots and its really bodering me.
can you please provide a solution to avoid dongle usage every time ?
also i am running it on win7 x64 and i have to set the date every time before starting the software to 4th january 2013.

Yes carprog have dongle shit is the same like china !!!
About working carprog interfaces i dont know how works I never buy from him!!

But today tested edc17cp14 vag with boot mode and work perfectly! Read write is okay!

Just got a galletto v54 to update old v48, but wasnt able to install it yet as the cd didnt have the drivers. Contacted seller already, is going to send them by email today, i have a leon 1.6tdi to do tomorrow, and i?m curious to test it, two weeks ago i tried a v53 on an ibiza 1.6tdi but after unlocking perfectly the simos pcr2.1 i couldnt read or write by obd, had to use a cmd flshtec from a friend to write. Anyone as any drives i can try out?

bdm ok , tried on 4 ecu Bosch.
edc17 passat 2.0tdi 2008, read and write ok by obd.
edc17 bmw320d 2008, ra ad write by obd ok
ec17c46, mb classe b 180cdi 2009, tricore read an write, ok also.

I have same problem too, it is a bug from original galletto my friend with original tool confirmed it also. I think its fixed in new software verisons now.
