Hi guys, I posted about this a long time ago but since it was never checked during MOT it wasn't really an issue. Obviously now I'm up shit creek as the MOT is due in a month.

Long story short, I purchased a 2006 Corsa-C from my brother who had been in a VERY minor accident with it. The airbag and pre-tensioners had been triggered.

I took it to a local vauxhall breakers who fitted a replacement drivers airbag (mostly for cosmetic purposes) and he told me that the airbag light would not go off until I replaced the pre-tensioners.

I have a fleabay op-com which told me the following:

Total number of fault codes: 4
B0026 - Driver Airbag Squib Circuit High Resistance
(00) - Not Present
B0065 - Driver Pretensioner Circuit High Resistance
(00) - Present
B0058 - Passenger Pretensioner Circuit High Resistance
(00) - Present
B1000 - Electronic Control Unit Not Reusable
(03) - Not Present

Now that the MOT checks the airbag, I need it sorting. I have done the resistor trick with the pretensioners hoping that would make the light go off but it didn't.
Now the op-com tells me the same as above but with two additional faults saying Driver/Passenger Pretensioner Circuit Low Resistance - Not Present (im guessing this is because I have had the pretensioners disconnected and added resistors).

If I try to clear the codes, it attempts to do so but when it reads the codes again the same faults keep coming up.
Is this something to do with the airbag module i.e. it needs replacing/reprogramming?

Can anyone help? Im in the north west and am happy to pay anyone who can help I really can't afford to spend a grand on it with Vauxhall as the car isn't worth that much .

Any help appreciated.
Regards
