It wont work tweek your setup if you want a better signal, Andy.

a tv booster is also the wrong slope amp, you would use a satellite amp instead which uses power from the stb to power it - still a bad idea though

realign the dish/check the lnb would be the first thing to try

there's one way for a better signal. is get a bigger dish
