    Default transit dash problem

    those any one know can ford transit with 04-06 reg dash clocks be repaired I have often come across these dah clock giving problems thanks

    Hi mate these are a very easy repair and if you had searched the forum I have posted this before but just for you here we go , open the cluster and look at both sides of the circuit board very carefully you will notice black spots on it use a fiber pencil and clean them off be careful not to miss any and that's it job done dash will now work perfectly hope you understand this as it is really simple to fix good luck

    Same with Focus. Those with more than 300 posts are entitld to get some fairly fine sandpaper and give the board a scrub.

    Anybody with more than 600 posts is then entitles to scrub with sandpaper and simply ram dash back in, any less posts they have to spray board with laquer

    Have a 2005 transit and when I start van mileage disappears and all I get along display is ------- ,I've tried 2other speedos and they still have the same problem , this obviously not the dash . Have any of ye guys seen this problem before

    I also found the plug seams to clock, bad solder.
