just noticed the part that holds the end of the blade is just a bit too tight so might need a slight bit of filing to get the blade sitting right against the screw adjustment.

I've just tried a the cutter from the manual vertical goso type adaptor set on the condor it makes the edges very rough but obviously it thinks the cutter is 1.5mm not 2.2mm, but ignoring that it now looks a lot better, so with a bit of tweaking to there software to make two passes with 1.5mm or 2mm cutter this will deffo be a viable option to cut tibbes.

I will drop them an email.. hopefully they will get this updated asap.

i must admit , i have the tibbe clamp for this and for the miracle A6 , but i never use them , i still opt for my silca delta FO dedicated machine for tibbe , perfect key in a few minutes every time , ive never been a lover of clamps for tibbe , a good stand alone machine is quicker and tidier .
its nice to know i have the clamps if ever stuck , but my silca delta fo still has its place on my van.

the best cut for a safe key is by hand , failing this and if quality safe keys then you really want a dedicated mortice machine like the silca lancer , though if using a machine i find for best quality all mortice and safe keys need hand finishing for best results .

as machines become more multi use they will always lose something in functionality and quality of cut .

my first machine for safe keys was an old mancuna , but despite its age , some TLC and it was a great machine .

i know it uses space and can be expensive , but you cant beat dedicated machines for dedicated jobs , its a bit like a skilled tradesman and handymen , handymen cover bits and bobs of multitrades but the specialist does that bit more .

i used to know a great safe engineer , he had a lancer on back of van but mostly cut and finished his keys by hand .

most of the dedicated tibbe machines are superb , and second hand they dont break bank , and as dedicated to just 1 job they tend to be very fast and very reliablle .
