Received one of these the other day and am very impressed with the quality.

I cut a HON66 Chinese blade on the fastest settings as a first test and it breezed thru it with the supplied 2.5mm cutter. Opened and started my Civic as easy as the factory key.

It does seem to have a few common UK blades missing but there seems to be a lot of interchangeable blade types. Just wondering if anyone knows if a P38 blade can be cut as a HU71P scania blade ? It seemed to decode and cut fine.

The machine came shipped with english firmware ver 2.2.8. Although that is the latest version I bit the bullet and attempted an online update. It worked fine but took and absolute age to complete .. around 45 minutes. Looks like the usb serial port they use is pretty slow.

Im pretty intrigued as to the operating system/firmware that this is based on. I think it would be pretty outstanding to be able to open the firmware up a bit to see if its possible to tailor some of the profiles to our own localised blades. I'll be adding some pics of the controller boards as I strip this puppy down.

It'll cut a HU36,39,55,64 and HU72R. There are quite a few more listed under Mercedes.

    I copied a Subaru dat17 , Toyota mr2 and a BMW e87 smart key. All good. I tried a Mercedes w203 flat blade but it didn't work.
