    used axis A-13535
    axis B-13531
    But it actually cut
    axis A-13335
    axis B-13531
so there does appear to be some sort of problem on this one
Yeah I did the same. Doesn't cut what you put in. I'm guessing that if key code is not in database it won't cut properly. It should cut whatever bitting you put in manually.

you have to be spot on with shoulder placement on ne72 and ne73 or it miscuts , and you should use the 1mm cutter for best results on ne73

I'm just wondering. How helpful is that machine if the client has lost all his keys and there's no key to decode?

Is taking the lock apart the only "universal" way to get the mechanical key code for cutting the key?

    the machine can

    1) cut to manufacturers key code
    2) copy an existing key
    3) you can enter the key cuts and cut the key
    4) if you only have partial cuts , you can enter the cuts you know and use the built in fill program to find the missing cuts or crate a cutting tree to cut

so it can do what most other machines can do without the need for instacode as find biting program is built into machine

so if you dont have a key to copy , and you dont have a key code , then you must either pick and decode with lishi then enter the cuts you want , or pull the lock , strip , read and enter the cuts , just as with every other machine , no machine can create a key without the code , cuts or key to copy , so it is as helpfull as all other key machines , more so if you dont have instacode as it has a fill program built in.

im going to send details to see if these can be added .

now its up and running its time to play
My clamp is siezed as rapidlocksmiths described (just received the machine). Anyone else had this issue? How did you resolve it safely?

no its not , dont fully unscrew the red knob , unscrew a little till loose , then strike downwards on the red knob , the cutter is then released , you strike the red knob every time to release clamp .

likely a stupid question but I've searched and cannot find it (could be tired). Where can you choose the number of passes on the z-axis? I couldn't find it on the machine, in the manual or online (I've seen it in a video somewhere but can't remember where). I found the menu with the speed of cutting and the size of cutter but no more.

Also, what is the machine password? It is some default?

Thank you for your help! This machine works great, I cut some vag keys and a TOY48 blade and they are spot on. So far, just getting used to it but seems great
