    Default skybox f5s no signal

hi guys, was wondering if anyone can help. I have a skybox f5s and when I scan i get no channels it comes up with nothing just says no signal just wondered if this means the box is dead, tried putting new channel list on but still no signal.Originally took the coax out to try another box and when I put it back again ...nothing, dish is ok because my dreambox scans and receives channels. If anyone can help I would be most grateful.

    Thanks John T

One of mine did that not too long ago, and apparently it was something to do with the power board on mine, you could try flashing it with the r32, sometimes they just need re flashing.

I know this may sound silly, but it's easily done. When you reconnected the LNB cable, did you put it back in the "LNB IN" socket & not the LOOP socket?

The LNB IN socket is the second one from the end.

Also have you checked that LNB Power is set to ON in the Installation menu & that in the Antenna setup menu, the LNB freq is set to Universal (9750-10600), & that both DiSEqC options are set to disable.

argh feel like a proper diddy put the cable into the LNB in and wallah channels back. Had it in the loop socket, only thing is that all free ch are back all other channels are scrambled think might have done something wrong while trying to get channels back. Is there any way I can check settings have not been deleted.
Thank you all for your help
