    Default DM500s - No lock or sync

    Hi all,

    I seem to be having a problem getting the Dreambox 500s to lock and sync to the same satellite (Asiasat 3S) and frequency it which used to work before reflashing the image.

    What i have tried;
    Reflashing multiple images (Open PLi, Gemini 4.20, Commando 14.7) = no change
    Moving the satellite a few degrees and back = no change
    Tried a different frequency and symbol rate = no change

    If this helps, (Currently cloudy had some rain last 24hr)
    SNR - ~59-65%
    AGC - ~55%
    BER - fluctuates usually from a low # to high to low, etc

    Reason for the reflash was due to the box being stuck on the permanent green L.E.D., blank screen, remote didn't work, etc.

    I've reflashed the image to Gemini 4.20 as that was the one that came with the box when i first turned it on, as well as put in a satellites.xml file that was generated from here (satellites.xml generator / transponder .ini generator)

    Thanks in advance

    if it says no lock that means exactly what it says. make sure its pointing @ the correct sat you want to scan and also make sure all the connections on the coaxial cable are dry and connected properly.. then do a scan. if all the forementioned is correct you may have a faulty tuner in the box
