    Default MS Office

Help - my daughter's computer has died and she (and by that I mean me) has just spent a , relatively for me, large sum on a new pc. I purchased it with windows 8, assuming she still had the old office disks. She doesn't and I resent having to fork out another sum of money for programmes I've bought half a dozen times over the years. Anyone know any short cuts? PM is fine

    thanks all

Do you know why the PC died?

You could try using keyfinder to dig out the key for Office. But I've never tried it on an external drive before.

You will need to remove the hard drive from the broken PC & plug it into a caddy. Or you could try plugging it straight into the new PC. Don't do this if there are tamper seals on the new PC.
