X431 Diagun II smartbox - Repaired and quick fix.

If your smartbox works sometimes and mostley Not at all, then look at this,
If 8Mhz external clock not active.
Then LPC2368 only boot and dont fire up the code ?

Quick fix is: solder a 10K resistor between testpoint T17 and T20.
T17 external reset.
T20 ground.

Current draw is only 0.33 mA over resistor.

Picture is with resistor in startup.
Without resistor it looks same, just higher voltage.

If you are into find the real problem, then look for the noise or glitches that might disturb the LPC2368 to fire up normaly. This look like a software problem as well, go and figure !

Have started it up more then 50 times now with No singel fail on start.
+ in car test: ABS, Instrument cluster, Powertrain, Livedata, blablabla data.....
Working fine, right now.
Ironicly it was a xxx-ucking long fix for me !
