    Default HDMI MONITORS SUPPORT AUDIO

I'm thinking of buying a new PC MONITOR but I want a HD HDMI MONITOR, my question is do all HDMI PC monitors come with built in speakers and support audio out. I want audio through HDMI cable...
    Cheers for any help guys...

the hdmi lead will be plugged into the graphics card so it will not carry any sound output, if the monitor has speakers you will need a separate lead from the sound card to the monitor.

That's not quite true. HDMI is capable of not only video, but networking and sound. I have an LG 29 inch TV as my monitor, and get sound coming out via my ATI video card with HDMI and through the TV speakers. Shame the TV is only capable of 1920x1080 though, everything is way too big, but I wouldn't go back to my old 23 inch AOC monitor.
