    Default recover help

    hi can any one help is there anyway i can recover a skybox s12 box becoz theres no rs232 conncet on the back of the box

    hi again will have to open the box to fit it rs232 ttl conveter im all new to sky game

    No need to open the box. It has a four pin on the back and some of the USB to ttl have four females. I'm not sure of which wire goes to which pin but a google will find it.

    no need for the converter,the 4 pins are rs232 and not ttl.
    you need a 4pin converter to 9pin.
    use an old pc cdrom 4pin audio cable

    I would give up looking at ttl converters, as you won't find what you need.

    You will need to make your own. If you haven't got an old connector from a pc you can use, then the connectors (with wires attached) can be found on Ebay. They are JST-XH connectors and are used in RC models:-

    Lipo Balance Lead for repairing battery pack 3s JST-XH male 3-cell, 11.1V, 22AWG | eBay

    You will also need a 9 pin (male) sub D-type connector.
