I can use program Tech2 from TIS 2000 only by using Tech2 device? Or there is some emulator of this device?
For example: Can I download data from my ECU by means of K-L Adaptor to my PC and then work with this data using Tech2 of the TIS 2000.

This is NOT possible,you can do that only with Tech2 .

I did? But a lot of acronyms are being thrown around. I'm not new to software, but this thread full of very short posts did not answer my question?

Unless you mean the one before mine that asks a similar question that does not make sense, since I do not know what TIS is etc.

I use this maybe it's not the same but now I can unlock the Tech2 for programming and key learning.

I'm new around here, Looking for the gm TIS 2000 Version and a dongle emulator that will allow for SPS programing. Can anyone help out? I have a tech2 and was working for one of the dealers that got closed down when gm dropped the axe. I now work for an independent shop and would like to be able to use my Tech2 off my laptop. I still have access to the tis2web interface as well.

Hi, one more Newbie here!
I just ordered a TIS2000 GM NOA dvd from a seller on ebay. Its probably a copy and the price was to high I guess.
My plans are to bye a Mongoose GM interface and use it with my XP pro laptop.
I have couple of questions, and I hope someone can shed some light on this.

About the dongle emulator, which files that’s offered in this thread should I use (works best)?
Can I use XP sp3?
Has someone else here used Mongoose J2534 to reprogram a GM module?

I have a 2005 Chevy Suburban that I’m going to add a oem trans temp gauge to the cluster, and I guess I have to change some settings in the cluster module.
I also want to fix a problem with the memory seat without taking the car to a shop with a tech2.

You need New-Different "Safe" cable if you using USB ----> RS232.....

May i give a nice announce ment about global TIS2WEB !!!!

I think nobody knows it....but all sps files ans security acces are already IN the dvd from global tis2web.

I can know...i use the global tis2web ( after install and getting activation ) WITHOUT ANY internetconnection....

I walk from car ( with tech II ) to the to my desktop or laptop or whatever..and download the files into the tech II. I can use Pass true with tech II and that works the same.

For the MDI the same story.
I have no internetconnection...and can do all programming.

Just that you should know. !!!!!
