I've never had problems with DHCP myself, but some members advise to turn OFF DHCP. Reset box. Turn ON DHCP. Reset box again.

When I used the cable directly from the cable it wouldn't work with that, that would eliminate the plugs is have thought,

If you can connect other things via your router then it's not likely a DHCP problem on your router side.

I'd say it was a DHCP problem on the box side so follow hadrons advice for your skybox

Sorry. I meant DHCP on the M3.

In the network setup menu set DHCP to OFF. Scroll to "Apply" & press OK. Press "exit" button.
Put box into standby & then back on again.

first of all read the forum rules to what you mention in your first post, what you meant to ask was why box cannot connect to internet using home plugs, common thing maybe not on same circuit or connecting into a double power socket with other socket in use.
as mentioned the old direct cable feed and rebooting box and router helps to make a connection.

Sorry cacti kid, I understand, the two powerline plugs are connected, and they are in a socket directly, tried the rebooting and all with the direct cable,

Is there an IP address listed on your skybox?
