If you're like me, you'll download that because you think it's easier then after a day or 2 realise it's not and go back to AJ's list.

No mate the list you get is probably out of date, both Aj and satv5 do a lot of hard work in creating these list and keeping them up to date and it is a matter of preference of which you will end up using regularly each person is different.

Haha I'm curious as to why you felt this way?
I've been living elsewhere for the last year and always used AJ list, which is good and fine for me but now buying a F3 for my father, and was thinking maybe using the proper sly channel list (forgot the guys name who does it) would be better for him, and wouldnt make a difference for me.

Im guessing it is because these boxes are a bit laggy (not as smooth as genuine sly boxes) hence it could get a bit frustrating?

The favourites list is a lot easier way of navigating the channels, I've tried both and there are far less steps to using AJ's list. Unless you know the channel numbers off the top of your head.

Yes. Thats why AJ updates his list regularly and we all update it regularly.

Channels usually change frequencys (transponders i think it is called). So one day your SkyOne may not work. If you do a scan you wil end up with a few SkyOnes of which 1+ will work of course. But if u wanna add this to ur existing list and remove the old one it is so tedious.
so updating channel lists is very good. Get rid of all that doesnt work, and left with everything that does work.
