    Default VU solo back up

    hi, all can I make a full back up of my vu solo (black hole) and flash it to another solo box?
    if so please advise how to do this ,

    Yes you can remove any usb inserted insert formatted usb mount it set the path ie media hdd or media usb. Then you can do full image back up via settings.

    Sorry to hijack the thread..i have done a full backup just incase...if i do personal backup (blackhole 2.0.9)
    If i update the image to the latest then restore the personal backup will it load everything on the box i need
    i.e...all the c*ms & plugins ect that are loaded on the box now ??

    So the box will be the same as it is now but with the updated image

    The idea of a full image backup ie a stable one tried and tested means that when something goes wrong loading plugins etc you can revert back. What you asked ie personal bh will work but eventually you will have problems as each plugin etc gets updated to work with newer images you will be loading outdated ones. So I would recommend reflash new image then add on latest plugins etc. hth
