    Default help needed with 1175 slim drive pls

    hi guys

    i recently picked up a slim
    its got a 1175 drive in it
    no biggie

    i believe i have to change the drive board yes ?

    if this is the case can any1 point me in the right direction as to what i must do to be able to flash this and play my games

    can you supply a link for a good reseller of the replacement pcb's

    also is it live safe ?
    if its not live safe there is no point as this if for my son
    i have RGH chips in
    i have various tools
    maximus lizard
    and so on

    any help greatly appreciated

    Your going to have to glitch the console to obtain DVD key and FCRT.bin

    Then you just flash a replacement PCB

    top man cunny i thought you would come to the rescue

    is it going to be live safe tho thats teh question

    after i jtag it ill remove all traces of rgh chip and wiring and .........

    hmm wait i may just rgh its ass
    no need to do drive then is there

    No. I had 1 come to pre xmas an it was glitched by blakey on tx, did good job an boot times were fantastic.

    If you glitch you always got link to play on anyway

    An yes, all upto date fw is as live safe there is

    think ill just RGH its ass n sell it

    so basically to clear this thread up in case some1 else comes searching for info on the same topic

    you can do these drives but you need the replacement LTU board

    rgh your machine and get teh required files
    flash your replacement board with the relevant firmware
    leave RGH or remove rgh and flash back to stock and away you go

    correct me if im wrong here cunny mate

    You dont need to flash stock fw as orig pcb will have it.

    You only need nand dump an cpu key to retrieve files from nand.

    Once you have them, remove glitch, replace pcb an away you go, insert orig pcb to update dadh as normal

    If you prefer glitch, leave glitch in as usual

    You got it pretty much in a nutshell m8

    Id glitch these suckers or look at a demon (dual nand)

    hi mate
    wondering if you can help me here
    same console

    im trying to glitch it
    got 2 x cr3 lites here
    ive installed both but neither is making the glitch noise from teh chip n the fan dont flutter when glitching

    any ideas ?
    im using alternate cpu reset point Dblue wire about 37cm long
    just no reset glitch xtal noise !!

    any ideas ?
    pics to follow of my install
    ignore the first chip thats stick to the motherboard

    LK2 is short
    all rest open
    set to slim and on norm
    flashed chip with 2-3 to try get me going

    ive just checked under the cpu heat sink
    all tracks are there

    right mate

    ive just removed LK2 which i believe is for on board xtal and corona Mb.s
    i soldered up my own xtal like for the early mobos

    will let this try glitch for a while and se what happns

    still cant hear that xtal frequency tho when it glitches !!

    ps i put stock flash back on and it booted up just fine

    reflashed EEc back to it and tryign 4_3 timing
