    Default Touareg MED17.1.6 ECU fault. How to open this ECU??

    Hello,

    I have a Touareg ECU that have been damaged by a jump start, I opened the botton lid but it seems that the burnt component is in the other side of the board.


    Is there a way to open the other part of the ECU? I used a lot of hot air but could not remove it!


    Please advise.

    Mate , is the same sistem like edc 16 . I bet is it . try to aply a bit more force
    Dosen't matter how hard is to repair something as long is made by humans and thinked by humans !
