Hello I have a 2014 Toyota aqua that was flooded. All the ecu were damaged and I have replaced them with ecu with same part number but they all came from different cars. I replaced power control management, smart key with a key, srs air bag ecu and main body and fuse box. Right now the car locks and unlocks and can turn on ignition but it would not put car in "ready". I have tech stream cable I tried programing new key but I learned that to program a new key you need one working key. I was reading post online It seems I would have to program smart key ecu as if I had all keys lost, not keys. Please can I have some advice on how to get it to start. Any tool I would need to buy.

Hello. I figured to post to this thread rather than a new one. I have a 2011 USA Prius with all keys lost. Techstream and Autokent's seed key generator fail to marry a new factory key. I am definitely not a locksmith and do not have various programmers in that regard. I can read and write eeprom dumps just fine. I am trying to understand the details of virginizing the smart key module (or other modules?) in order to add this key. Right now the Prius is non operational, power button does nothing, and I assume has timed out the immobilizer so that Techstream cannot communicate with ECU. Any advice is greatly appreciated. I have attached a photo of the Smart Key module, which appears to have a 93c86 on the board marked IC003. Thank you.

PS: I have attached dump file from 93c86 eeprom. I opened the transmission control module and found RH56 eeprom, but when read is all 0000. I hope this is a result of the previous Techstream attempts and is normal....

Do you know where this is located in the car? Or can it be intergrated together with the smart key ecu ?

To my limited knowledge, Prius/Aqua models for regions outside the USA have ID Code Modules located near/behind the Evaporator core. It sounds to be an extensive job. I hope you have small hands

Hello friends, as a follow up to a previous post I made, I have attached three 93c86 eeprom dump files from a USA 2011 Prius with Smart Key module 8990-47061. An original dump from the Smart Key module after I attempted to learn with Techstream and failed, a second "virginized" dump that I got from another DK member, and a third dump of the Smart Key module after I added a fresh key. PLEASE MAKE NOTE: that the transmission control module RH56 dump was all "0000" when I checked, which could be from my Techstream attempts. ALSO: I had the wrong key at first, call Toyota with your VIN to get the right part number, they have like 4 different keys listed for this 2011 Prius. Would have saved me a lot of time if I had called Toyota first. Enjoy.

I'm working on a 2012 IS250. It was an all keys lost situation. Reset the immo and add first key (unlocked). The smart functions work correctly and i get ignition on but the immo light blinks even with ignition on. The steering lock never unlocks and the car won"t start. I tried resyncing the Steering and ID code box. It says successful but same situation. When I tried to reset again it finishes with success but there is still the one key stored in the system and it still works the same as before. I've tried a new steering lock and no change. I tried adding a key with tango directly into the smart ecu but it doesn't recognize the file. I pulled the ID code box and tried to resync both it and smart ecu but the Smart ECU is the wrong size.
    Smart Ecu #89990-53131 s93c86 File Size 2048b
    ID Code Box 89784-53031 S93c46
can anyone have a look and help?
    Thanks

I also have this read from the Smart ECU. This was read off the board after I got back to the shop. I read the first incurcuit after I removed the resistor attached to the 5th and 8th leg while in the van.
