    Default Handy tips

There's a few things on the iOS 7 operating system that are hidden- here's some of them, and they are applicable to iPhones, iPods and iPads.

Spirit level- load up your compass app and swipe horizontally from right to left across the screen. This will bring up the stock spirit level, which is actually very accurate.

The control centre- put your finger on the plastic trim below your screen( near your home button) and swipe straight up onto the screen. This will bring up the control centre. This gives you fast access to some handy things that you use on you're device.
From the control centre you can also do other things like turn off you're wifi, put the device into airplane mode, adjust brightness or volume, turn on you're Bluetooth or load up a calculator or even a handy torch.

Turn on caps lock- whilst typing just give the shift key(the key with the up arrow) two quick presses and it will turn blue. This means you are now tying with capital letters. Press the shift key once more to turn the caps lock back off.
If you want to delete everything you've typed, then shake your device and a box will pop up saying "undo typing" just press the "undo" button to delete everything.

Camera shutter- you can use the volume buttons on the side of the device to take a photo. Sometimes pressing the shutter button on the screen can give you a shaky picture, so use you're volume buttons instead.
Keep the volume button held down to get a burst of pictures.

Quick battery charge- if you want to give you're device a quick charge then turn ON the airplane mode while it is charging.
This will turn off all radio signals(battery drainers) and allow the device to charge up to 3 times quicker.

Quick screen shot- take a photo of you're current screen by pressing the standby button(the one on the top right side) and home button at the same time.
You will hear the camera shutter noise and the photo will be saved along with you're normal photos.

Master Reboot- Again press the standby button( top right) and home button at the same time, but hold them both down until a picture of a white apple appears on the screen. Now let go of both buttons and let the device reboot itself. It can take up to 2 minutes. This should always be done if you are having any problems with you're device.
It is a good practice to do this at least once a week even if you are not having problems as it resets the operating system and clears away any unseen glitches and gremlins.
