Hi all can anyone please tell me if mpps clone will write my modded file back to astra 1.7cdti edc16c9, it reads ok but dont want to end up with my astra van not starting. Just need to know if someone as wrote the file back ok to there vehicle using mpps clone. Thanks to anyone who can answer.

So ,writing didn`t finish and now your car doesn`t start up ?You don`t mention what clone do you have

I think he means he has not yet attempted to write to the ECU. I agree, it's worth stating what version of MPPS are you referring to? V12?

Hi mate the version is 12 software version 13.02, you are correct i have not wrote the file back yet just incase it fails. It reads the ecu ok but just a bit worried incase it fails and my van will not start. I just wanted someone to confirm they have wrote the file back ok to an astra 1.7cdti edc169c with this cable.

I flash my Vectra 1.9 z19dt edc16c9 with modded file using mpps 13.02
Use backup battery to be sure voltage not fall under 12volts
My battery 70Ah + on wires 65Ah

Flash takes aprox. 1 minute.

Thanks for all replies, i took the plunge and wrote the modded file back to my van and i can confirm mpps reads and writes ok to 2008 Astra H 1.7cdti edc169c. After writing the file back van runs spot on also plugged opcom in to check egr is permanently closed which it now is.
