Exclamation skybox f5s works with 'no signal fix' but not ibox 2 plus

Hi guys. I have an f5s with no signal fix working fine. But when I swap to cloud ibox 2 plus I get no tune on most channels. Is there a specific setting i have to change to get ibox to work with a no signal fix? Ibox is fine in mates house with quad lnb. His is standard sly lnb but mine is different. I will post example........ this is the type of lnb giving the problem. Thanks

You dont need the 'No Signal Fix' cable attached with an iBox, that was predominantly released for the Open/Skybox branded receivers

    Ok. Thanks Digicon.
Would you have any idea as to why it would be working at one house with a slip on lnb but not that other type that slides into the arm? Have literally no idea what to change in service settings. Its on simple setting. Tried changing few things but got in way to deep and had to put settings backup on again after.
At least no signal fix and skybox showed me it may be an lnb problem/lnb setting?

Try the box connected to the LNB on its own with no other receiver connected and see what happens, All LNB's are Universal so if it works on one quad it should work on any as long as the port on the lnb you have it connected to has not Gone/Stopped working

I had tried with both sly+hd boxs off at plug but will try with all disconnected. Not convinced lnb though because I think it was split between pay/fta rather than Hor/Vert. Only other difference I can see is im Bt with hub5 while he has openreach box and seperate bt hub. But network test showing all fine. Really at a loss. Bringing new lnb and ladders and 2x iboxs Wednesday to try again but im looking incompetent to them at minute. Gutted

If anyone has expert service searching settings that I could compare to I would love to try them cheers

when you are told remove, powering off wont work its the sat cables need removing and not touching metal as voltage is involved.
each box needs its own feed and having the fix on that cable for the skybox unsure if other box would work there then.

What about using the wizard that you get when first setting the box up? It might pick up his lnb setting. Any way to access that wizard again later in settings somewhere? Or is the only way factory reset?

If your using the Receiver on a Fixed dish pointing at 28.2? east then the Tuner section in the menu should state : Simple - Single - 28.2? east

If that setting is correct then you should have no problems

Have you tried connecting the Box to any other ports of the LNB

Yes. Tried 4 ports. Got it sorted. Was the lnb. The box is the new working lnb and the pics are the old thomson lnb that wouldnt work.

I really hope this helps someone in the future.

And thank you all for ur help.
