Default configure my cable tuner help!

Just got a cable dreambox800se, I've tried to do a scan with no luck, just keeps saying failed, configure your tuner, the tuner is enabled.

I've gone to cable scan to these settings below, but not sure what to put in.

    Tuner - enabled
    Frequency
    Modulation
    Network id
    Use official channel numbers
    HD list

Ive put my cables.xml from my dm500c - etc/tuxbox onto the box biut still no luck.

    Any help would be great.

you will need the Network ID and the frequency for a scan as not all areas have the same ID/Frequency

Hi there, im in exactly the same situation. Im in Brum too and have flashed Smirnoffs image onto my Dreambox. I was hoping that it would pick up some channels but no luck at all. I get the same error message as you ' tuner failed'.
I'd love to know the above settings too if anyone has them.

didnt work unfortunatley. not sure what else it might be. Would you know if VM disconnect households from the cabinet? I havent been on cable for about 5 years now, but all my cabling is still intact in the house. Is there any other way of checking if im still connected?

Thx for the help so far BTW.
