    This is what I want to do once I have my dm500c. I have used Media Center for years and it would be great to get cable working seamlessly with it!

    Can someone explain to me how this works?

    Is this a software for the Dreambox or the Mediacenter.
    I've allways connected the dreambox to my mediacenter through a composite videosignal, and channel changeing via IR.

    What is that this software does to change that, and how are the two boxes connected with this software.

    Basically

    It is software for Windows Media Center (WMC) and will run on XP as well.

    Here is a working screen dump of it;
    It is a hobby so mileage may vary

    hello i'm thinking about getting a dreambox but have a few questions, if you had several computers around the house and your dreambox is streaming over your network would you all have to watch the same channel or could you watch different ones.
    cheers for any help

    Try XBMC if you are looking for a free option you can download it frim here Download XBMC Media Center from SourceForge.net

    XBMC TuxBox Stream Client
    the TuxBox Stream Client will only work with Enigma Based TuxBox images, this includes Dreambox and Dbox2!

    Dbox2 Users with Neutrino Images: to use the XBMC TuxBox Client you must switch to a Enigma based images! I Recommend the PB-Enigma images from :::...PB-Powerboard-Boardregeln...::: or Enigma Based Images from other groups for the Dbox2!

    How does it working:
    you just create a share with the Tuxbox IP adress and login informations.
    On Opening, the client will receive the Bouquet + Channel list.. and on select a channel , it will begin to stream... it will also display Current and Next Events. EPG, Recording and other usefull things and Information will be add. later!

    The Share will be:
    tuxbox://USER:PASSWORD@TUXBOX_IP:PORT/
