    Default Advice on SIM card?

The wife has upgraded her phone, and now I have her iPhone 4s.
I have my work phone which I have had for over 10yrs and have never changed the sim. I have used the sim on various android phones and it works fine, as long as I unlocked the phone.
Can I cut down the sim to fit the iPhone and will it work? The sim is a vodaphone and the wife had her contract with orange.
    Cheers

If the phone is unlocked you just need to cut the SIM card down. There's a few tutorials on YouTube to make it easier.
Get your wife to contact the iPhones provider and get it unlocked, it shouldn't be more than ?20 if the contract is expired.
Btw I've done this myself and it deffo works.

You can buy a sim cutter. After cutting, smooth the edges and pop into your phone.

It can be done mate but it's only like half a millimeter from the chip.

If you ask your provider, they will (or should) exchange the simcard to the one you want, and transfer all credit etc across for you, not sure if you will need to port your number over to the new simcard, they should do it all for you.
