This is challenge and response,make key by dump,all works.

I need change steering ELV and code it. I did it before few times, but allways was megamos 48, here first time pcf7936 ID46 keyless system, maybe sequence wrong... Car did not start at all, client come and we try to change steering lock and stuck on password accepting, now car did not start on old ELV. So we can't code new one from dealer and car did not start on old one...

Write old dump then old should work again.

Dump is old... I did not change dump, I read it just to get PIN code. Any Ideas?

Now I can't start with old ELV, maybe it heapened after first step?

Yes,rewrite the dump you read and steering lock will work again.

I put old dump back, everything the same, no ignition, go to VW main dealer and bought ignition lock, put it... nothing... then I open old lock and found one bad micro switch, take it from new lock (which I can't program) put in old and... nothing!!!... Take new mechanism and put it in old lock... nothing...

Key good, remote control working, chip good, I can read it with tm100 and tag tool...

I did not say before, but when I putting key in a ignition lock, steering lock locking unlocking locking unlocking again and again... on a dash yelow steering light and message: turn steering wheel, after other message: steering wheel still locked...

Lock just on a cables, I did not put it in a place still no good result...

I solved last variant where I changed switch. It was need did it fast, so forget about small lock on a top of steering lock, when you opening cover it locking Steering lock. So it was small problem...

But why I can't code new one I don't know...
