If an invalid PIN is submitted to a control module, it will simply reject it. The module isn't damaged and at worst may lock up in which case you just have to leave the ignition on for X amount of time for it to reset.

Depending on the control module, some will report right away the submitted PIN is rejected, others will act like everything is good, and then about 15 seconds later the control module drops communication.

I'm sorry but I don't know the values of "X"

I believe the pin is 32916 but need to confirm..
