Please guys,
Its urgent if anyone knows anything i would be grateful, if he could share his knowledge
Hello everybody,
I am trying to tune a mates Polo with a 030906030D ecu. I haven't desoldered the 27c512 plcc32, because the car isn't near me.
I managed to find a 030906030D file and i had a look.
My questions are:
When i change a few values, do i have to correct the checksum, so i wont have any starting issues?
What about immo, is it going to have different immo file in it?

yes my friend you must correct the checksum
If you want to tune there is no reason to play with immo values
Thank you for your reply,
In my case i dont have access to read the ori, because the car is not close to me. I managed to find a ori bin file from a forum.
I have noticed that in the ori eprom there is a sticker with the checksum stamped on it (2DE1) so the file i found had the same checksum.
Will it be any problem?
no problem (if the rest following numbers in ecu is the same)
Any ideas guys.
is there somebody that has tuned this ecu before?
Here is the ori file from the plcc32 27c512 epromPolo 16V test.rar
Here is the immo off file.Polo 16V immo off.rar
