    Default Fgtech v54 help needed

Am having issues with this tool in reading a MED17.5.6 , it's a Tricore stuff. I did the connections as stated in page 32 of the manual since it's SAK 1767, but it won't read. Tells me to "remove and put power to ECU to continue" but what do I remove?

Thx bro, i did the switching on and off and also connected the boot cable to GND. On the page 32 of the manual, i connected the resistors to the selected points and connected the boot to one of the negative and looped them together while i give 3.3v to the other resistor. When it asks me to put on and off i do so

Hi friends, i didn't find answer to sogaro's question. I'm having trouble reading same vag med17.5.6 with fgtech galletto in order to do immo off. How do i source the 3.3v input tricore voltage? Alternatively, i read the pin, cs bytes and mac using AVDI "edc17/med17 direct pin/cs" special function. After that the ecu can be adapted to the immobilizer completely by obd.
