how to copy file from my ECU?

I have a question
Can someone tell me how I copy file from my ECU, i need it for remapping.
I have tried with mpps but it did not work.
The car is a Golf 4 GTI 1998
1.8T 150HP 06A906018R 0261204673
and i think it's a ME3.8.3

M3.8.3 can?t be read, just write if you google you?ll find an original file from these ECU

I have the original files, VW golf 1.8T 150HP 06A906018R 0261204673 358109 & VW golf 1.8T 150HP 06A906018R 0261204673 359591,
I have also a second unit (ECU), just in case for backup.
But how should i do with the IMMO? is it going work with no problems?

You should do the immo in case if you change the ecu , i other case just mod the ori file and write it over obd that all .
