Ive made a suggestion to digidude but dunno if its appropriate.

But I followed the guide as best can and done well but when it came to the actual mounting of the satelite was stuck, seems you cant just use any drill for drilling into concrete/stone/brick !

After speaking too a builder with experience hes advised me of a heavy duty Hammer Drill and ill require a masonry set also, masonry set can get thru brick/concrete/stone surfaces.

I maybe wrong about this but id guess most folk are gonna mount there kit against a solid fixture (stone/brick/concrete) and not a wood !

I think it would be nice too have it part of the guide otherwise people will just get stuck half way thru like myself

    Default top marks

Top marks for effort ,spot on ,just wondered ,i have fitted a 1mtr motorised dish but in my location[ north west] it cant see above 19 deg astra so ,on the front of house i have a sly minidish for 28 deg and a separate feed to back or receiver
is it simple enough to wire a splitter to switch between dishes as i dont wavt the motorised dish to move when i select 28 deg?

Fantastic post there, Its now got me thinking about having a go my self as Ive been quoted ?130 but this includes T&K bracket, pole, dish and L.N.B, cable AND fitting so I don't know if Im being a tight ass as that seems to me to be a knockdown price and I wont even have to get the ladders out!!

Not all sky dishes are on a south facing wall. Use a compass to make sure your dish is on a south facing wall

    THE TRUTH
    The Hillsborough Independent Panel. 12/09/12

Today's report is black and white. The Liverpool fans were not the cause of the disaster.
The panel has quite simply found 'no evidence' in support of allegations of 'exceptional levels of drunkenness, ticketlessness or violence among Liverpool fans' and 'no evidence that fans had conspired to arrive late at the stadium' and 'no evidence that they stole from the dead and dying'.

My mate had his dish on the same wall as his sky dish. When i went to set it up for him because he was having trouble getting a signal, the dish was on the wrong wall. Get a compass or a satnav and make sure its on a south facing wall
