    most likely it is especially if its MY round 2008 and its been updated by local BMW dealer but even in that case you should be able to read it via OBD or just take ecu on table and boot mode these have bridy easy open ecu panel soft clue

    DOesnt matter not worth it via OBD, Boot mode it it s safer!
    if u flash back via OBD and get a eeprom mod and no checksum what then? u wish u had read via boot mode

    now you have it on table so just go for boot mode
