    Default Dead iphone5

Hi guys. My iphone5 has been confirmed dead by the genius at the store. If I sell it to a recycler will they be able to get any details from it ie passwords photos etc ?

    Thanks guys

dont think so with crapple but not 100% sure, was reading something along this line this morn BBC News - Naked selfies extracted from 'factory reset' phones only 100% sure way is to destroy the phone as this article says.

If they try hard enough and with the right software, yes they could retrieve photos, emails etc from your device. This could even be done with an Idevice that was factory reset. If your worried about it then just destroy it.
