    Default X3 chiptuning whit DPF inside

    can you tell me what do you think about chiptuning on X3 2.0D, 340000km, 2007, whit DPF inside? I clear DPF filter whit ultrasonic cleaner today, and im thinking about make a chiptuning on it. What do you think is it a good idea or only whit only whit turned off dpf? thx

    Why not, there is a lot of car which have 500 000 km and still working, check if is all ok turbo and other components, why not one optimum tuning, rregards.

    Well a lot of people do dpf off, but if is dpf not necessary factory will never put in new cars, for me is better to stay dpf on, if you have problem then dpf off, that's my opionion about dpf, but here is a lot of memebers they can give their opionion.

    i dont have problem whit dpf, so it will be better for me whit dpf on...

    Maybe dpf delete (empty) and make dpf off, but you will not have problem tuning and
    dpf if this post can break turbo because the temperature is very high.

    is not a good ideea to empty completly the dpf...can create problems of turbo...best to drill the ceramic and cancel from ecu ...

    is the same thing completely empty, dpf.
    because then you can loosen and clog exhaust outlet.
    and is double work

    wrong...and the sensors from dpf (BMW) what tell when they smell the free gas?and the sensor of pressure turbo?think is better drill with 12 mm...no possibility loosen and clog exhaust outlet....i made this work like these and no more problems

    What prevents residues ceramics fall apart and clog the exhaust?

    when you drill,you drill from right to left or left to right...not from down to up....so can,t broke the ceramic...same linear structure where you drill

    another problem is, that my car have 120kW power when i buy it. it is same motor as 130kW but BMW sell cars to Belgian whit 120kW. I get original 130kW flash, and remap my to 130kW but after make this i have 4 errors:

    now im thinking what will be the best way for me ...

    if with the original flash wasn,t problems,why you do not tune him?
