Hi all, just put an EGR blank plate on my VW Caddy 1.9 TDI 2008 van and its showing EGR fault code all the time. Could somebody delete the EGR from the map please and also being cheeky give it a bhp tweek but keeping economy in m ind too please so not too major. File read with a Powergate.Thanks in advance

saw your posts,you have a good contribution on DK,here is your file with EGR off and +25HP.Pass in pm.Real engines don't need forced induction
Who needs a turbo when you have a stupidly quick naturally aspirated engine?

Just done 60 mile trip on first and then 60 mile back on 2nd, both pull much better and make van much more drivable. EGR fault didn't appear on either so very pleased. Thanks again to you both.

How about fuel economy on remap file, its more or less?

Just looking at MFD display whilst driving both files looked similar to standard but 60 miles is not enough to test and I was playing with the turbo more due to better acceleration etc so if it looked the same but I was driving harder there probably was an improvement. With it driving much better though so long as it doesn't use more fuel I'm not bothered about an improvement now to be honest. I plan to leave 1 map in a month though and measure mileage over actual fuel used then swap maps for another month, do the same and decide which to run.
