Not sure if ;water in diesel, rail pressure sensor, engine coolant is 5 volts...
Throttle is 5 volts,2 separate outputs from ecu
    EGR,AC pressure sensor-5v
    Airflow,afaik is 12 v...
If the car got cruise control, there might be 5 volts from ecu in CC switches.....

I found a rectifier diode blown in the ecu which I have replaced, however I still have all the same faults so assume the ecu is dead. Going to try it on another car. Oh, MAF should have both 12 & 5v

I have fitted a working ecu. The ecu now reports of too high a voltage on each of the injuctors! The injector resistance's are fine measured from the ecu plug. There is no short circuit so I'm baffled

Na! fixed & sold that one a long time ago. That had shorted injector wires that blew the ecu. I do a lot of Espaces. I see one post here that it was poor connection at the ecu on the injectors. But all four of mine report this! Wondering if it is a cap going in this ecu. I'm not having much luck with this one.

I'll have a look. There was no evidence of popped caps. I put temporary injectors on the connectoes of the main two reported faulty. The car is now trying to start. I pulled them out & one is very coked up. Don't know if this is why it reports as high volts.

    If i understood this right......
Engine starts then stops, diag tool says 5 volts missing => change ecu
new ecu says injectors faulty..... replace injectors=> car ok
Hard to believe that a car can broke in that way...
    maybe with a little help....
A failure will not appear till a unit has passed final inspection
