    Default bdm100 1236/1251/1255 - problem!! please Help

    Hello Everyone!!

    i have 3 bdm interfaces... 1236, 1251 and 1255.

the problem is.. am able to read and write any bosch ecus which does not need power to be supplied externally. but like Marelli, delphi etc needs external power supply and when i connections these ecus which needs external supply, the software says "vcc no supply interanal error" though the connections are proper.
its happening since once i tried to interchange the software (like using 1255 software and 1236 hardware/1255 hardware with 1251 software).
Can any one help me with this problem.

    please...

    Regards,

    I have a similar problem.

I have two new BDM100 from china. I didn't buy them at the same place. I was never able to make them work.

I tried the update over there:
    http://www.digital-kaos.co.uk/forums...-update-65904/

I always get the following error:
    Interface Comunication Error
+12Vcc power error or Communication error

Anybody have a clue ? I'm trying it on a MED9.1 Bosch ECU. I do not use External Power.

Do we need to connect an external power supply connected on the ECU pin ? In all the pics, I only see the connection to the BDM pads on the board.

Does anyone have experience with Bosch EDC16 and MED9.1 ?

Why I always get the following error ?

    Interface Comunication Error
+12Vcc power error or Communication error

I use it with the pogo pins on sale on ebay: BDM 100 ECU spring loaded probe adapter 12 position : eBay Motors (item 250473213741 end time Mar-24-10 15:50:24 PDT)

    Hi all,
I Bought one BDM100 clone from china and i want to read/write the Bosch EDC16. I've performed the DBM100-Bosch EDC16 connection as in the attached picture, I've run the 555pro aplication but I got this error: MPC version error (E06): 0x00000000
    Part number error (E05): 0x00000000
Power error or communication error (E14)
Can you please advise what is wrong.

    thanks for you help
