Removed the 0990 by masking and removing the middle of the chip w/ a burr grinder, it has a small metal pad soldered not glued to a large aluminum plate behind the PCB. Hot air station couldn't get enough heat to remove easily with reasonable heat flow. When putting it back tried thermal paste on the center pad and soldered legs under a microscope. No success was able to scan ABR for codes, but it had an internal error code current before it was just stored and could be cleared. Not sure if the center pad needs to be grounded, in that case you need to pull the PCB off the pins heat from the back and separate from aluminum plate. This is not easy. Perhaps you can press the solder button from the plate and put it aside. Then solder the new chip and use solder paste under the chip to attach the base at the PCB. Then solder the button and attach to the plate. seems to be a really bad design and vibration would break the chip legs over time or break the chip inside. In practice do you need to connect the center pad electrically to the PCB or can you use thermal paste on the center pad. Why the giant heat sink on that chip?

I played a bit with the CorsaD 1.2 ABS module in 2007. 0265950428.
When opening the module, make sure that the fluid pressure sensor DOES NOT OPEN. When removing the plastic housing, the gold wires from the sensor to the electronics break. There are five gold wires (two are common) it is not a problem to replace them with copper. Pay attention to the layout of the wires. I will post a couple of pictures as I tried it.

You can see an interesting video here, it is in Serbian and it will not be understandable. You can see how the solenoids and valves are tested. The test is not in real conditions because there is no oil pressure. Electronic testing only ....

Hello does anyone can help me how can I repair
W169 steering sensor with hc08 MCU inside
hi , i have ate mk70 ford ka 2005 with no communication, anyone have some info on this problem ?
thank in advance
Sometimes it needs resoldering ALL contacts inside module, and if this does not work ,then resoldering MCU(I just use hot air gun) and drivers.
Sometimes brake pressure sensors are the fault that get the 5d5f to show up.
Sometimes rear wheel speed sensors are faulty even if they show speed. If you have a fault and 5D5F and a faulty sensor its probably related.5 out of 10,its the inside of the MCU that its the problem.Cannot solve it.I gave up after months of trying .
If i Helped you,use thanks and rep button to thank me back
