Default Starview "The Box - T" (MMDS) 'No Signa' issue after power circuitry replacement

    Hi,

Have read the threads here but cannot see an answer to my query - hopefully one of you guys can help ?

Have a Box-T about 8 months ? Its on Ch*r*s MMDS in Cork (Ireland)

Was working perfectly since day 1 ?. About 2 months ago the thing started to reboot itself intermittently (about once a week) - no biggy as it would come right back on ?

But then 2 weeks ago it completely died (no power whatsoever) ? So combined with the intermittent reboot this is apparently indicative that the internal power board is banjaxed ?

So I bought a new power board and replaced it ?. Now it has power again - But I cannot get the thing to pick up any channels (eventhough they were all there before the thing died) :-

    I get "No Signal" message.

I put in the new Key Codes (from Big Maq) ? EMU is ON ? And when I scan, it tries 12 frequencies and then I get "No Signal" Message - and no channels ? I did a Factory Reset ? I tried different Firmwares (version.5.01e and version 8.04e or something like that) ? same result ?. The coax is in the right location ?. And the coax is live because if I plug it into my Ch*r*s Box next to it , then that has no problems ? also I opened it up again to make sure the ribbon cable from power board to the rest of the circuity is connected OK ?
If I set Default Key in the secret menu (1570) it changes my Nagravision Keys that I entered previously (so I don?t know if I should be setting the Default Key at all ? )
Also besides Nagravision Key entry area there is nowhere else to set the provider ? (and when I go back in here , N*L is always the first provider that appears , but I guess this shows all providers no matter what)

Has anyone ever heard of the Antenna part of the Box just going faulty (and giving No Signal everytime) ? - Maybe when the power board went it took this with it ? Or couild it be something else ?
    Thanks

by the sound of it u dont have the correct firmware on that box,t firmware gives u no providers and it also has the power on antenna in menu,u have the ordinary dvb/c firmware which is not suitable for a dvb/t box.factory reset box first then flash ur box and continue on from there.

Thanks Cactikid ... but I think I had the correct f/w loaded: TheBoxT-22122008.bin ... also had tried TheBox-T V1 api.bin ... I thimn these 2 are supposed to be good for Box-T MMDS Ireland (Ch*rus)
