Hi, sorry for no reply. Not done this one yet - will still report.

Went to job the day after post. Galaxy was in a yard, blocked in from behind with cars, with front end in a hedge - no battery in car. Me and mechanic couldnt move the other cars to pull it out. Going back tomorrow - they say it'll be moved into the garage for me

    EDITED 25/08/2014

    Finally got this done - 2001> HU66 ID44.
It's Ford PATS timed, 8 minutes, no pin. Connected MVP as Ford Galaxy.
Tried a few odds n sods on this, to clear things up for those as confused as I was.

Chinese T300/MVP (v9.9 and v12.01) not working - tried as Ford PCM or PATS 3 and VAG immo2 just for a laugh.
Clone SBB does it okay, connect as Galaxy.
Tried genuine Focom for Ford in 'special diagnostics - Ford Galaxy' - Immobiliser - No communication.
Obviously IDS would do it, so not bother trying.

So, if you have SBB - use that

    Reviving an old tread...
I have a Diesel Auto 2001 Galaxy. It came in for a turbo. It did run to put it on the ramp. The owner gave us two keys & said one didn't start the car. We did the turbo & could not start the car.
VCDS shows a faulty crank sensor, we have tried two, one a genuine ford. I did a immo off to prove it is not keys. However...
The engine still refuses to start, the remote fob no longer operates the locks, the resync operated by multiple key turns in the door lock does not work. Both keys give the same error code that the key is not read.
It turns out that the remote fob does not have it's immo chip in it. I have been told by a 'Timpsons' locksmith that if we have been attempting to start the engine without the immo chip multiple times then the pats has shut down.
This explains why central locking has stopped, & without a working remote fob it cant be programmed.
I'm not a locksmith, if I get a SBB & a id44 chip will I be able to get this running or does it need to be rebooted by IDS at ford.

If key is written into the module.
    It is there.
I wouldn't try to program a new key, at this point.

I guess this would be sorted out getting PATS up and running.

Default Ford PATS falt code U2010

I have cleared PATS fault codes but this one keeps bouncing back U2010 module not responding (non SCP)
Anyone know which module. I'm thinking pump or fuel rail as when it starts it will run rough as if runs out of fuel.
    This is AUY 1.9 diesel

This pats code was because the immo was turned off in the engine ecu
