Default Need some help regarding USB Loader GX on Wii - Initialize USB Device

    Hello Digital Kaos!
I've come here because I'm on my last straw, trying to figure out what's causing my Wii to do this..
Anyways, I followed this guide today on how to mod my Wii (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-bxhHXfeXgs).
I completed everything that was shown in the video and everything turned out just fine.... that is, until towards the end.
I used WBFS Manager first to load an ISO onto my flash drive. Plugged the flash drive into the console, (yes, I plugged it into the port towards the bottom of the console while it's laying horizontally) and booted up USB Loader GX. The process started up but froze at "Initialize USB device". I thought this may have been something to do with WBFS Manager, so I re-formatted the USB stick to FAT32 and used Wii Backup Manager to convert the game's ISO file into WBFS. (Yes, I have created the "wbfs" folder on my flash drive and stuck the contents into there.) Anyways, I went through all that jazz and finally stuck the USB stick into the Wii for a second time. Booted up USB Loader GX and got the "Initialize USB Device" screen freeze.

Not sure where to turn at this point, I'm hoping one of you have a solution to my problem because I don't really know where to turn now.

If you need any extra information from me, feel free to ask. I checked the USB compatibility page and didn't see my flash drive on there, but if you're wondering, this is the flash drive I use..(Lexar JumpDrive TwistTurn 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model LJDTT16GASBNA - Newegg.com)

    Welcome to DK.

I see you have SysCheck v2.2.0 HD Edition which isn't an official update sysCheck19 is the last one.

I don't see much wrong with that sysCheck so I would say you flash drive may not be compatible. You better of using a mains powered USB drive as they hold more games.

That sysCheck is similar to mine sysCheck #MKWDueNa and all my games work of a powered 1TB USB drive.

Do you have USB Loader GX on the Wii menu and have you tried the other 2 USB Loaders CFG USB Loader and Wiiflow?

    Hello Keith,
I took your advise of installing WiiFlow and that was what confirmed to me that my USB Drive was not compatible. I managed to scavenge another USB Drive from around my house and tested it with USB Loader GX. The new USB Drive actually got past the "Initialize USB Device" screen and was recognized. Thanks so much for your help!
