Default Skybox f5 reboots constant when LNB feed connected

    Hi guys
I updated my box yesterday with latest channel plan and it got stuck on load
    reflashed it with rs232
now soon as I connect the LNB it's rebooting no shorts on the cable as I've tested it
    any ideas or suggestions
    thx in advance

    My thoughts as well ???

If the box boots ok without the cable attached then its most prob the cable or the LNB
or the settings on the box might be wrong

But most of the problem you say are caused by the outer wire touching the inner wire on the feed

Maybe a faulty tuner shorting out just a thought

Maybe someone has had the same prob ??

    Does it reboot at LO97?

This could indicate that you have reflashed with the wrong firmware.

I tested for a short with a multimeter send have tried smother box on the end of it works no problem it goes all the way to 100 when booting so I assume it's the correct firmware
box is labeled as a skybox no openbox f5s
