    Default DM500s dead

My 500S is dead. It had been unused for a few months as I was moving house but was working perfect up to that. I have tried another power supply . There is no LED on front panel but internally on the main board there are two green LEDS on . I have tried connecting with Dreamup but PC does not recognise it as it does not see it as been powerd on. thanks..

It's the PSU, I reckon, m8. The original 'brick' ones from China are shite, run VERY hot, and only last two years at best. You can pick up decent 12v 2A adaptors on fleaBay for under a fiver that run warm 24/7 and do the job nicely.

Hot tip! Buy two, so you have a spare, LOL! Ensure the tip that plugs into the dm500 is the correct size (5.5mm o/d and 2.1mm i/d, usually YELLOW colour) and polarity, where the outer is -ve and the centre pin is +ve
