Default delphi new vci mcu damaged

    Hello guys,

about 18 months ago I bought a delphi new vci clone, single board model,
in the second month the STM32 mcu for some unknown reason got damaged luckily i had a damaged autocom cdp+ (same board inside) and scraped the mcu from that one and revived my delphi vci.

after few weeks for some unknown reason the STM32 is dead for the second time. I managed to find another cdp+ and scrap the mcu and revive the delphi vci.

last month I had the same problem and I had to buy a new STM32 chip from farnell.uk. after a few tests I managed to get the vci to work one more time!

and now, after a week, here I am one more time with the same problem. only this time I know that the vci damaged while I was trying to do a service interval reset on a 2001 BMW e46.

anyone got any idea why this mcu crashes ?

That would point to me like an outside influence other than the MCU causing it to keep blowing..
